Sony Santa Monica Studio's God of War has scored a hat trick at this year's Game Awards.
The Game Awards 2018 was packed with brand new trailers, new game reveals, and exciting announcements about games new and old.
First thing first, obviously you have been waiting for the winners, and your favorite game might be in the list! The games poised for the most awards include Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War and Marvel's Spider-Man.
The Game Awards are taking place right now. Still, if you get stuck in traffic or you are asleep at that time of day in another time zone, you can check back with us on VGR for updates. Of course it hasn't been explicitly stated that they're there to pull the curtain off of Square Enix's Avengers title, but imagine if the Russo Brothers turned up out of the blue, instead of letting the cat of the bag a few days ago. More performers will be announced in the lead up to the show. There are also teases from Obsidian and even a glimpse of Splinter Cell 's Sam Fisher can be seen in a hype video for the awards ceremony.
The show starts at 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PT.
