Fortnite will be getting a brand new "Creative" mode. As in previous seasons, the Battle Pass allows players to unlock new cosmetic items based on their tier progression. Everyone else will get access to it for free on December 13. Fortnite Creative is a completely separate mode from Fortnite's Battle Royale mode.
The creativity of Fortnite is getting a major facelift and extending beyond the game's unique building mechanics. Rather than appearing as a Limited-Time Mode, Creative will become a third top-level option alongside Battle Royale and Save the World. However all players, regardless of Battle Pass status, will be able to be invited to worlds from the very start. Considering that Fortnite Season 6 ends on December 4, a two day gap before the next set of events is par for the course.
