KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Kyle Korver, sharp shooting extraordinaire and consummate pro, has been traded by the Cavaliers to the Utah Jazz for guard Alec Burks and two future second-round picks, ESPN and others have reported.

Korver has been with the Cleveland Cavaliers since a trade in the 2016-17 National Basketball Association season, and has been in the finals each of the last two seasons.

Korver, who ranks fourth on the NBA's all-time list for three-pointers made with 2,238, has played 16 games for Cleveland this season, averaging 6.8 points. While still shooting 46.3 percent from beyond the arc, the 37-year-old was also shooting the least amount of shots (4.8 field goals per game) since his rookie season as well.

Burks, 27, is averaging 8.4 points in 15.8 minutes per game while shooting 37.2 percent from deep in 17 games for Utah this season. In exchange, the Cavs will get Alex Burks and his expiring contract, along with two second-round draft picks.

"I was surprised", Jazz star Donovan Mitchell said of the deal that was agreed to shortly before Utah's 101-91 victory in Brooklyn. I hope he will return one day. "Obviously, being around, I know how that goes but it's something you never want to see with guys going but I wish the best for him". They join the Rockets as some of the most disappointing teams in the West so far this season and will be looking to Kyle Korver to give them a boost.

"I mean we're not a bad 3-point shooting team, I think guys are just missing shots", Jazz forward Derrick Favors said. His salary for next season includes $3.44 million guaranteed, with the full amount becoming protected if he is not waived by July 7. He is a free agent at the end of the season, so if it does not work out for the Cavs to have him as part of the team they can part ways when the season ends.
