Kim gave her fans an update on Twitter Friday, writing, "I heard the flames have hit our property at our home in Hidden Hills but now have stopped". Completely devastating for anyone who loses tangible memories and the security of their homes.

Kardashian West's sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, also had to leave their homes.

Celebrity website TMZ reported that the Malibu home of Caitlyn Jenner, America's best-known transgender activist, was destroyed by the flames on Friday.

The wildfires have destroyed the Malibu residence of Kardashian's ex-stepmother Caitlyn Jenner, and killed at least five, according to official reports.
