Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday for assault related to a dispute over a parking spot, according to NY police. The alleged dispute reportedly took place at approximately 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
According to WNBC, the victim was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital after complaining of pain.
- The NYPD confirmed to Fox 5 News that actor Alec Baldwin was arrested in Manhattan on Friday.
Baldwin was given a ticket for a desk appearance, which could land him in front of a criminal court.
He also got into her face and yelled, "Get the F. out of here" before unsuccessfully trying to get NYPD officers at the scene to arrest her. In it, he called the 11-year-old a "rude, thoughtless little pig".
The actor starred in the movie Hunt for Red October and more recently in TV shows 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. Baldwin was in the middle of a custody battle with his ex-wife Basinger when he left the message.
In 2012 and 2013, Baldwin was involved in several confrontations with photographers.
In the 1990s, Baldwin was acquitted of battery in a case involving a photographer.
