Preorders for the iPhone XR opens on iStore's website on Friday.
The lowest priced iPhone of this generation will be available for pre-order starting today (that is, October 19) through brick-and-mortar Apple stores as well as directly from Apple's own official Indian online store. Apple says the glass is the most durable ever on a smartphone.
The iPhone XR price in India starts at Rs 76,900, and is available in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options and will be available in in black, white, blue, yellow, coral and (PRODUCT) RED colour options.
This phone features plenty of new technology including a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, wireless charging and new A12 Bionic processor which is now outperforming all of its Android rivals in speed tests.
The iPhone Xr is made from aerospace-grade aluminium and is available in a variety of colourful finishes.
One common message across multiple videos is that the iPhone XR doesn't feel at all like a budget phone. Also missing is the more durable steel frame as the iPhone XS and XS Max, with the stronger material being replaced with more scratch and bending prone aluminum.
It's not all bad, though: The iPhone XR has a bigger battery than the XS.
There are just three days left until pre-orders of the iPhone XR commence, and you'll just have to wait around a week more when the sales actually begin.
In the camera department, the iPhone XR sports a single rear 12-megapixel camera sensor with a 6P lens, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Focus Pixels, and a quad-LED True Tone flash.
The "Depth Control" lets users adjust the depth of field both in real-time preview and post-capture.
