Dimensions are 158 x 73 x 9.9 mm.
The resolution of the single rear camera hasn't been revealed yet, but it is said to come with some high-end features including, predictive PDAF and laser autofocus technology. The phone comes with a USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack adapter.
All three devices are IP65/68 water and dust resistant. It's the same 19-megapixel digital camera, and in our Xperia XZ2 overview we discovered it captured quite a lot of dispute and correct colors, however didn't continuously get the exposure staunch style.
The biggest surprise with the Xperia XZ3 is Sony's switch to the OLED screen, and we are looking at a handsome 6-inch 2:1 2880x1440 resolution panel, which adds up to 537 ppi of pixel density. The 2,880 x 1,440 display was developed with the help of Sony's Bravia TV engineers.
Up front, the Xperia XZ3 will continue to sport an 18:9 display and will not join the latest trend of notched displays. The amount of built-in storage is 64 GB expandable. Its resolution sits in the middle of the XZ2 and XZ2 Premium at 2960 x 1440, offering a pixel density of 568ppi. Sony has also stuck with 4GB RAM. Plus you'll marvel at the screen with TRILUMINOS™ display for mobile, producing only the most vibrant colour palette. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor and comes with support for wireless charging.
Audio has also been upgraded, with the S-Force Front Surround Sound speakers now 20% louder than on the previous model.
Sony is keen to tout some new user features that it attributes to artificial intelligence implementation, including a "side sense" trigger that opens up a mini menu of frequently used apps and a "smart launch" feature that turns the camera on if you hold the phone up horizontally in front of your face. And of course only Sony's Motion Eye™ camera offers 4K HDR Movie recording for pro-quality filming and Full HD 960fps Super slow motion for dramatic shots. The front camera is a 13.2MP sensor and carries a f/1.9 aperture lens. The XZ3 retains few key features from the XZ2, while it switches others for a slightly improved unit. They will both get an update to Android Pie from November 2018.
It is important to note that the Xperia XZ3 has become the first smartphone with preloaded out of the box new Android operating system 9.0 Pie. Sony says Side sense is developed by keeping large displays in mind, and, it also offers one-hand usage.
