Lovato, 25, remains at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she is being treated for complications from an overdose of what may have been a combination of substances that allegedly included opiates and meth. Do not cut, copy or lift any content from this website without our consent.
Now, new details about that fateful night - and the following morning when Lovato was found - have been reported by TMZ. The singer remains in the hospital and is said to be focused on her health at this time.
The subject was brought up by members of the artist's family while she recovers at the hospital, sources told TMZ, who reported Thursday that the arrangements are set. As it turns out, ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, 38, who has been by her side during this entire ordeal, may have had something to do with her decision. She refused to call the doctors a drug that she accepted.
Demi Lovato has not released a statement of any kind, nor has she posted anything on social media since her apparent overdose. "He still has a lot of love for Demi and only hopes that she takes this opportunity seriously and stay in treatment as long as it takes to get well".
Lovato "was not breathing".
On the track, she sings: "Momma, I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore / And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor".
The star previously sought help for her addictions in 2010, so her family are said to be confident that she'll agree to rehab again this time.
