We know that Sony plans to show more from "The Last of Us Part 2", "Ghost of Tsushima", "Death Stranding" and "Marvel's Spider-Man". Spidey has to deal with a breakout at The Raft, the Marvel Universe's prison for supervillains, and faces up to plenty of familiar foes, including The Scorpion, The Vulture, Rhino, Electro and relative newcomer Mr Negative. The stakes certainly appear to be high as Spider-Man struggles to overthrow his rogue's gallery as the trailer ends on a delicious cliffhanger. The trailer also features its own self-contained twist, so look forward to that as you watch. The gameplay looked like it was running at 60 frames per second in near 4K on a PlayStation 4 Pro, and that made New York City pop to life as I sent the webcrawler flinging carelessly through the air.
Ghost of Tsushima is launching exclusively for PS4, although we don't have a release date yet. This week we're also letting everyone at the show swing around a section of our Manhattan, stopping crime, completing research tasks for Harry Osborn, infiltrating and shutting down enemy bases, and even coming face-to-face with Shocker himself in a climactic boss battle. We're betting either Green Goblin or Miles Morales.
That could lead to Harry seeking revenge, and who else but an Osborn could afford to get these villains together? Read what we thought of the game here. His considerable wealth and power in the criminal world would make it possible for him to get other baddies to team up to rid NY of its web-slinging savior. After all, that mystery Spider-Man could be anyone, so it's best to consider everyone - even the insane guesses. Insomniac's web-slinging action-adventure launches exclusively on PS4 on September 7, 2018!
