E3 is the biggest video game expo in the U.S., and it takes place in two weeks.
One of my favorite parts of Assassin's Creed: Origins was exploring the city of Alexandria. We can also look forward to learning about the big fall update Bungie has planned for Destiny 2 and finding out what game Remedy has been working on since shipping Quantum Break in 2016. The game is set in Greece, presumably many years after Origins. Here's when all the shows featuring PC games will be streaming live. And of course, the title Odyssey infers some connection to Ancient Greece, specifically the Trojan War - which took place in the 12th century BCE.
With Assassin's Creed Origins previous year, Ubisoft proved that their time off with the series was well earned.
While Origins added Witcher-like RPG elements, Odyssey will take things even further, those people said, bringing dialogue options to the series for the first time. Players will once again be able to choose between going through the game as either a male or female protagonist.
As for when the game is expected to release, two sources peg Assassin's Creed Odyssey for Ubisoft's financial year 2019, meaning a possible release before 31st March next year. Does this mean that Ubisoft is resuming its annual release schedule?
