"They don't have to tell me".
"Emily just shot a movie, it's a small indie called Mary Poppins", he joked, "And I went to visit her all the time".
"That reaction means I married up, and don't I know it", he said clapping.
He recalled, "It was going great, the customs, the whole experience". "Especially the older one, she's like, 'Mummy, I got you that pink scarf you loved'".
"He said, "It says here that you're an actor".
It turns out that not only did the customs agent not think much of Krasinski's show "The Office" (which was a remake of a United Kingdom show by the same name) but he was incredulous about who the actor married. But don't let us spoil it for you, because John's re-telling of the tale is much more impressive.
"And then he says, "Who are you visiting here?' And I was like, 'My wife".
"The actor continued, "[The customs agent] says, 'Oh, is she an actress? As a parent I can agree with Emily Blunt, there's no shortage of things to worry about here in Danbury, The Hudson Valley and beyond!
Meanwhile, John recently admitted that Emily is way out of his league, saying he "married up" when he tied the knot with the actress.
John soon had to explain who he was visiting in England and when he revealed his wife is Emily Blunt, the Customs agent responded "You?!" before he stamped his passport.
