The Delhi unit of All India Democratic Students' Organisation also demanded a high-level probe into the CBSE question paper leak case, and said it showed the board's "utter negligence" in conducting examinations fairly.
"We want to urge the students and parents to not panic and assure them that the board is doing its best to ensure sanctity of the examination", a senior CBSE official had informed.
The CBSE's statement added that dates for the same shall be put up on the CBSE website within a week, the board said in a statement.
Police said Vicky, who runs a coaching centre at Old Rajinder Nagar for Maths and Science subjects, has been detained for his alleged role in circulating the leaked papers.
According to reports, PM Modi expressed his displeasure to HRD minister Prakash Javadekar over the paper leaks.
The authorities are now probing class 12 Economics paper leak, the re-examination dates for the same will be declared soon on the official website.
"Post-VYAPAM and SSC, now three papers of CBSE have been leaked".
"We have received snapshots of the handwritten paper circulated through WhatsApp from the complainant". He assured that the government is tackling the issue and the culprits would not be spared. "I know how parents and students prepare for the exams and so when a question paper is leaked, it is very sad", he said.
Students are claiming that besides math and economics, many other papers were leaked before the exams.
The case was reported to the Delhi police and an investigation was launched.
