"Walking onto the set was out of this world, I came through this way, saw the kitchen first and then the living room, I do not know how they recreated it in such detail", said Laurie Metcalf, an IL native who played Roseanne Barr's sister on the show. "I felt like once we were back together, it just felt complete".
We recently chatted with Barr on the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of the revival for "Roseanne" (watch above), which returns to the alphabet network this week nearly 30 years after the original debuted. Watch her swipe apples and you'll recall all those moments she zigged when everyone else zagged.
"It just happened", Barr said of the series reboot.
"I can't say [what happened] but somehow he's still alive", Goodman joked.
Not only does Dan make a return, but both Goranson and Chalke, who played Becky Conner, will appear on the show at once.

In the reboot, Goodman said the Conners will face tougher issues such as the presidential election.
