27-year-old Brittany Zamora is accused of having sex with one of her students at Las Brisas Academy Elementary School in Goodyear, AZ.
She fronted court for the first time yesterday, with documents showing the 27-year-old had sex with the student three times, including performing oral sex on him in the classroom and in her vehicle, since February 1. A status hearing is scheduled for March 29.
Police said Zamora also send naked photos to a second student, and that another student had seen her having sex with the 13-year-old victim.
"I know baby!" Zamora reportedly replied. As per the Maricopa County Superior Court record, she performed oral sex on the student and told him that she wanted him "every day with no time limit".
"If I could quit my job and (have sex with) you all day long, I would."
After the teen's parents reported the alleged illicit relationship to the school principal, the principal reported it to police Wednesday and forwarded all screenshots of the incriminating text messages to the authorities.
They had installed a monitoring app on their 13-year-old son's phone.
Zamora is charged with sexual misconduct with a child, child molestation, and transmitting obscene material to a minor.
Zamora's bond was set at $250,000 this week. The second victim allegedly said that the teacher showed him naked photos of herself.
Just a few weeks ago, a Florida middle school teacher was arrested after police said she had a "sexual relationship" with an eighth-grade student.
"They froze different screens off the student's phone", said Interim Superintendent Dr. Richard Rundhaug, speaking of the alleged victim's parents. "Transparency is equally important". The notice reads, "As a result of the investigation conducted by the Goodyear Police Department, the teacher has been arrested and she will not return".
Rundhaug confirmed a day later that Zamora had been fired from the school.
"Additionally, we have school counselors and school psychologists at Las Brisas Academy today to help students and staff members cope with this incident".
"The school psychologists and school counselors will also be available for the foreseeable future to continue to attend to our students' and staff members' needs".
According to a video of her initial court appearance, Zamora told the judge she "would love to go home to my husband", People magazine reported.
Meanwhile, the boy's parents claimed that Zamora's husband Daniel had called them requesting not to file a report against his wife, saying she had made a mistake.
