Director Joe Russo mentioned that the tone of "Thor: Ragnarok", which was Marvel Studios' funniest movie yet, wouldn't be mimicked in the new film. It's now the fourth biggest superhero movie across the globe, shy of "Avengers" with $1.518 billion (5th highest of all time), "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015) with $1.405 billion (7th highest of all time) and "Iron Man 3" (2013) with $1.214 billion (13th highest of all time).
With all those characters cluttering up Infinity War - 76 by last count - who will end up with the most screen time? "I think you'll find that Thor has a really interesting arc in the film". Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) was all but dead during Captain America: The First Avenger, only to return as the Winter Soldier during Captain America: Winter Soldier, and is very much an important character in the MCU today.
I suppose this is some sort of throwback poster as apparently a young Gamora is hold holding the hand of Thanos (lol)!
Directed by the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joseph, the film will feature an all-star cast of the previous superheroes that have made their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some characters get a lot of screentime in this movie, while others will have bigger roles in Avengers 4.
Making Thor a crucial hero just before death would make the loss even more impactful, but nothing has been confirmed yet. As of now, she has appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel, with Infinity War marking her third appearance and the unnamed fourth Avengers film marking her fourth.
We were all pretty aware of the size and scale and scope of this movie but this new trailer goes to show just how enormous not only this film will be but also how ridiculously big the stakes are.
